Axiom

If you're looking for a good leadership book to read this summer, Bill Hybels' new book, Axiom is fantastic.

It contains 76 leadership proverbs that he has learned over the years. Each proverb and description is only 1-3 pages long, which makes for an easy read.

I'll be reading this book over and over again, so I can add some of these proverbs to my leadership skills. You won't be dissapointed by getting this book.

Justin - I didn't preach on Sunday. However, I'm guest teaching this Sunday at Rochester Christian Church in Rochester, IL. Have you taught anymore?

not recently.

i might have some opportunities this fall, though.

I have a friend who has a church in one of the suburbs, and he would like me to come up a few times. We'll see.

I'm teaching in a series called "Courage Classics" and I'm teaching on Stephen in Acts 6-7 and the courage to forgive. Stephen says almost the exact same words as Jesus said on the cross as he is being stoned. Kind of a heavy message, so I'm looking for a coupel humorous points.
